The Central Youth Council Jenta Adamu Ward, CYCJAW, has appealed to community members, friends, well-wishers, and the general public for financial support to help secure the release of three youths recently kidnapped while traveling.
In a press release signed by the CYCJAW Executive, the council said families and the community are facing enormous challenges as efforts continue to ensure the safe return of the abducted youths.
“The families and the community are currently facing enormous challenges as efforts continue to ensure their safe return. In this difficult moment, no contribution is too small,” the statement read.
CYCJAW noted that every donation will go a long way in assisting the affected families and supporting ongoing efforts to secure the freedom of their brothers.
The council called on all concerned individuals, organizations, and community stakeholders to stand with them during this trying time. It added that prayers and solidarity are also greatly appreciated alongside financial support.
Contributors were urged to share receipts after making donations to enable proper updates and accountability. The council provided contact number 07026675463 for that purpose.
“Together, we can bring our brothers home safely,” the release concluded.
Community members are advised to verify all donation channels and avoid fraudulent accounts claiming to be collecting funds for the victims.
