The achievement reflects the students’ determination toward academic excellence and the impact of the foundation’s annual JAMB, WAEC, and NECO coaching initiative. The lessons, which run yearly from February to April, are part of the foundation’s mission to expand educational opportunities for students within Jenta Adamu Community and beyond.
This year’s results recorded several scores close to 300, making it among the strongest performances since the initiative began.
Speaking during interviews, the students shared their experiences, challenges, and aspirations after seeing their results.
Ejeh Dennis Adanus, a resident of Jenta Adamu, scored 292 in the examination. He revealed that the Christ Royalty lessons were the first structured Jamb, Waec and Neco tutorial classes he had ever attended.
“The JAMB, WAEC, and NECOlessons at Christ Royalty were the first lessons I had ever attended. They helped me a lot, especially with the past questions and answers, which we had full access to,” he said.
Ejeh Dennis explained that the JAMB CBT tutorials at the Jenta Reads Library became a major turning point, helping him improve his laptop skills and time management during exams.
Despite becoming anxious after hearing about poor performances from other candidates, he said he was excited to emerge among the three highest scorers in the lesson and the overall top scorer at Bishop’s College Jos.
“With this score, I intend to study Medicine and Surgery at Benue State University,” he added.

“The computer was a walkover once I got used to it. My biggest challenge was understanding the subjects and managing my time,” he explained. “I’m weak in Physics and English, but I had to grind because my future depends on it.”
He credited the foundation’s free tutorials, teacher support, and access to past questions for helping him improve academically.
“Without the lesson, I couldn’t have reached this level,” he said.

The third Scorer Stephen Samuel Ajayi with 237, and the Fourth Scorer, Timkat Nanna, a resident of Jenta Karshe, scored 237 in the examination. She disclosed that balancing work and studies was her greatest challenge while preparing for JAMB.
“My biggest challenge was time management because I also work, so studying was difficult,” she said.
Nana admitted she initially doubted her chances of passing, but the lessons changed her mindset and confidence.
“I realized the questions would come from what we were taught in school, not from heaven,” she said humorously.
She added that the Christ Royalty lessons provided most of the encouragement and support she needed throughout her preparation.
“The everyday teachings and words of advice made me realize I’m not there just for myself, but for my family, my community, and my future.”
Although she felt disappointed at first for focusing too much attention on only two subjects, she expressed gratitude that her hard work eventually paid off. Nana now hopes to study Mass Communication at the University of Jos.

Founder of the Christ Royalty Children and Youth Empowerment Foundation, Mr. Timothy Jonathan, described the students’ performances as remarkable and encouraging.
He stated that the results reflect the foundation’s continuous commitment to empowering young people through education and helping students achieve academic excellence despite financial and social challenges.
